From the M1 travelling South 
At junction 13 of the M1, take A507.Stay on the A507, heading towards the A1(M), until a roundabout signposted “Letchworth” where you turn right.
Follow this road across two roundabouts which give access to a new housing estate, and you reach a group of three small linked roundabouts.
Left at roundabout 1 and then straight across roundabout 2 into Bedford Road.
Left at roundabout into Icknield Way and then straight across next roundabout.
Second right is Cross Street. We are near the end on the left — look for the white pillars.
From the A1M travelling South 
Exit 9: Take the Letchworth exit from the roundabout.Across long roundabout.
Across next roundabout (signposted “Town Centre”).
Right at next roundabout (signposted “Town Centre”) into Norton Way South.
Across next two roundabouts (close together).
Across next roundabout and under railway bridge (still Norton Way South).
First left: Nevells Road.
First right: Cross Street. We are quite soon on the right — look for the white pillars.
From Cecil Sharp House (London)
Out and turn right onto Regent's Park Road.First left, then get into right-hand lane.
First right (lights) into Prince Albert Road.
Across next lights almost immediately.
Right at next lights (filter): Avenue Road.
At end (lights and big junction) get into right-hand lane, and once through lights move over two lanes to right (avoiding traffic coming from right) so that at next lights you can turn right.
Once through lights move over one lane to left (avoiding fast traffic coming from left) so that at next lights you can go straight on. This is Finchley Road.
Straight on through various lights, and get out of the fast lane in time to filter left at lights, towards A41. There's an Esso garage on the corner, and two of the three lanes filter left.
Straight on through various lights (following A41 / A1 — NOT M1).
Becomes A1.
Across Mill Hill roundabout (with lights).
Right at big roundabout (with lights — still A1).
Becomes A1 (M).

From Stansted Airport
Get onto A120 towards Bishops Stortford and Hertford.Stay on this until you reach the A10.
Turn right towards Cambridge.
At Buntingford roundabout (Little Chef on right) turn left towards Baldock.
As you enter Baldock take first exit from roundabout, towards Letchworth.
However, at next roundabout ignore Letchworth sign and turn right onto High Street.
At end turn left at roundabout.
Turn right at next roundabout, straight on at the next and left at the next (Works Road or Bird's Hill).
Turn right at next roundabout, under railway bridge, then first left into Nevell's Road.
